Biden to Meet New UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer

U.S. President Joe Biden is set to hold his first face-to-face talks with Britain's new Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House on Wednesday. The meeting aims to strengthen the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom and will cover cooperation on key international issues such as Ukraine, the Israel-Gaza war, and preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
U.S. President Joe Biden is set to hold his first face-to-face talks with Britain's new Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House on Wednesday.

The meeting aims to strengthen the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom.

Key discussions will cover U.S.-UK cooperation on issues such as the Ukraine conflict, the Israel-Gaza war, and preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The talks will also address Iranian-backed Houthi threats to commercial shipping, and explore further cooperation in advanced technologies, climate, and clean energy.

Additionally, Biden will host an event with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy at the NATO summit in Washington.
