Celebrities Condemn LA Mayor and State Leaders During Destructive Wildfires

Hollywood celebrities and local residents criticize Democratic leaders for their poor management of the California wildfires.
Hollywood celebrities are expressing their anger at Los Angeles’ Democratic leadership, including Mayor Karen Bass, due to the mishandled response to the severe wildfires affecting the Pacific Palisades and nearby areas.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar spearheaded the criticism, highlighting the city's inability to guide residents evacuating as the fires spread through the region.

The Palisades Fire, which has consumed over 17,000 acres since Tuesday, has forced thousands of Southern California residents to flee.

Actor James Woods, who lost his home in the blaze, held Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Bass responsible for the situation, criticizing their fire management and water supply issues.

Other celebrities, such as Sara Foster and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, shared these concerns, pointing out the lack of preparedness despite high taxation.

Foster demanded that Bass and Newsom step down, accusing their policies of damaging the state. The criticism continued with celebrities like Zachary Levi denouncing the fire handling as criminally negligent.

Simultaneously, other public figures, including Paris Hilton and Billy Crystal, shared heartbreaking accounts of losing their homes to the fire.

By Thursday morning, five fires continued to burn, devastating nearly 30,000 acres in Los Angeles County, leaving many to question whether leadership failures worsened the crisis.

With emergency crews struggling, issues of infrastructure, preparedness, and state policy remain at the forefront of public concern.
