China Establishes New Military Cyber Corps: 'Fight and Win' in Modern Warfare

China has announced the creation of a new military cyber corps, named the Information Support Force, to strengthen its capabilities in "fighting and winning" wars.
This comes as part of China's ongoing efforts to modernize its armed forces amid escalating tensions with the United States and other regional powers.

The new cyber force will support the development and application of network information systems.

China has invested heavily in military modernization in recent years.

President Xi Jinping established a new cyber force in China, marking a strategic step to enhance the country's military structure and modernize its armed forces.

Xi extended his congratulations at a grand ceremony in Beijing, where he addressed officers in military regalia.

The specific role of the cyber force was not disclosed, but it is expected to contribute significantly to China's ability to fight and win in modern warfare.

Xi Jinping, the Chinese President, announced the establishment of a new military force, described as a significant decision by the Communist Party to modernize the military with Chinese characteristics.

Xi emphasized the importance of following the Party's command and implementing its absolute leadership over the military.

The text mentions China's territorial disputes, specifically its claim to Taiwan, which the United States has pledged to defend.
