In contrast, following Trump's victorious election as the 47th President, Bezos congratulated Trump publicly, praising his political comeback on the social media platform X.

Furthermore, Bezos's The Washington Post ceased presidential endorsements, a decision he defended as reducing bias perceptions.

This decision was aimed at enhancing journalistic credibility, as Bezos argued endorsements don't influence undecided voters significantly.
