Elon Musk Accuses Jeff Bezos of Advising Stock Sell-off
Musk claims Bezos predicted Trump's election loss, advises selling Tesla and SpaceX stocks
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, alleged that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos advised selling Tesla and SpaceX stocks due to an anticipated loss by Donald Trump in the U.S. elections.
Musk shared this claim during an event at Mar-a-Lago, stating Bezos told people to expect Trump's defeat.
In contrast, following Trump's victorious election as the 47th President, Bezos congratulated Trump publicly, praising his political comeback on the social media platform X.
Furthermore, Bezos's The Washington Post ceased presidential endorsements, a decision he defended as reducing bias perceptions.
This decision was aimed at enhancing journalistic credibility, as Bezos argued endorsements don't influence undecided voters significantly.
