Federal Appeals Court Questions Department of Justice Demand to Sequester Twenty Thousand California Mail-In Ballots

A panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit sharply questioned Department of Justice attorneys over an emergency administrative demand requiring California election officials to segregate and verify twenty thousand mail-in ballots cast by newly registered voters ahead of the federal midterms.
