Frenchman On Trial for Decade-long Abuse of Drugged Wife
A 71-year-old Frenchman in Avignon, France, is on trial for drugging his wife and allowing 72 men to rape her over ten years. The abuse started in Paris in 2011 and continued until 2020 in Mazan. His arrest in 2020 led to the discovery of the atrocities.
In Avignon, France, a 71-year-old French pensioner, formerly employed by EDF, is currently on trial for drugging his wife and allowing 72 men to rape her over a ten-year period.
Fifty men are also being tried alongside him. The victim, now 72, was unaware of the abuse due to heavy sedation.
The police initiated an investigation in 2020 after Dominique P. was caught filming women in a shopping center, uncovering images and videos of the abuse on his computer.
The abuses, conducted in Mazan, continued from 2011, when the couple lived in Paris, to 2020.
The trial, set to last until December 20, is public, by the victim's request.
