Hezbollah Chief Declares 'Great Victory' Against Israel

Naim Qassem's First Speech Post-Ceasefire Celebrates Success
On Friday, Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem proclaimed a 'great victory' over Israel in his inaugural speech following the recent implementation of a ceasefire in Lebanon.

Qassem announced, 'I have decided to declare...officially and clearly that we are facing a great victory that surpasses that of July 2006.' He emphasized that the victory was achieved by preventing Israel from destroying Hezbollah and by resisting efforts to weaken their organization.
