Iran Launches Drone and Missile Attack on Israel: Potential Major Escalation in Middle East Tensions

Iran launched a broad aerial attack on Israel from its territory in retaliation for a deadly Israeli airstrike on the Iranian Embassy complex in Damascus.

The government also issued warnings about possible missile strikes in the Negev Desert, home to several military bases and one of Israel's major atomic bomb facilities.
