An Israeli airstrike near a medical clinic in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, has resulted in the deaths of at least 15 Palestinians, including 10 children and three women.

The victims were reportedly queuing to receive food supplements from the clinic when the strike occurred.

Israel's military stated it was targeting a militant involved in the October 7 terror attack and is investigating the incident.

The strike comes as ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas continue, with no immediate agreement reached.
