International Prostitution Ring Involving Japanese Porn Stars Busted in Hong Kong

Hong Kong and Singaporean Police Crackdown on Crime Syndicate Charging HK$150,000 for Services
Hong Kong and Singaporean police have conducted a joint operation resulting in the arrest of over 30 individuals tied to an international prostitution ring involving Japanese porn stars.

The network, which operated in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Macau, charged clients as much as HK$150,000 (approx. 670,000 baht) for services.

According to Chief Inspector Tang Hoi-tung of the Hong Kong Organised Crime and Triad Bureau, the local syndicate used social media to promote their services and booked over 100 hotel stays over the past year, generating revenues of HK$20 million.

The operation led to the arrest of 39 suspects, including three Japanese sex workers in Hong Kong and one syndicate member along with three Japanese workers in Singapore.

The alleged female leader of the syndicate is also being charged with money laundering involving more than HK$19 million, along with ownership of properties valued at HK$17 million.

Additionally, Hong Kong police dismantled another prostitution ring linked to the triad, operating 'one-woman brothels' in several districts.

This secondary operation generated over HK$1.5 million monthly.

Authorities detained multiple individuals from various countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, and Russia, while seizing related assets like phones and vehicles.
