Joe Biden's Statement on Hezbollah Leader's Killing

US President Joe Biden called Hassan Nasrallah's killing 'a measure of justice' for victims, including Americans, Israelis, and Lebanese civilians. Following Nasrallah's death in an Israeli airstrike, Biden reaffirmed US support for Israel and directed enhanced defense measures for US forces in the Middle East. The State Department has ordered diplomat families to leave Beirut due to security concerns.
US President Joe Biden referred to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah as 'a measure of justice' for victims including Americans, Israelis, and Lebanese civilians.

Following an Israeli airstrike that resulted in Nasrallah's death, Biden reaffirmed US support for Israel's defense against Iranian-supported terrorist groups.

He has directed enhanced defense measures for US forces in the Middle East to prevent further aggression and regional conflict.

The State Department has ordered the families of diplomats in Beirut to leave, citing security concerns.

Israeli military confirmed that Nasrallah died in a bombardment targeting Hezbollah's headquarters in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
