JPMorgan has become the first City of London forecaster to predict that Britain will stay out of recession in 2023

Get ready for good news, folks! JP Morgan Chase & Co. has just predicted that the UK will dodge a recession in 2023, marking a first for any City of London forecaster.
While other banks remain cautious, JPMorgan is confident in its prediction after seeing resilient growth signals in recent weeks.

The bank has upgraded its UK growth projections, thanks to a resurgence in consumer confidence and a surprise return to growth territory in the latest purchasing managers' index.

While the National Institute of Economic and Social Research also expects the UK to avoid a recession, JPMorgan is the only one making this forecast the central projection, according to a Bloomberg survey.

Will the UK economy continue to surprise us with its resilience? Only time will tell, but for now, let's enjoy the good news!
