The US Air Force is imposing financial penalties on the United Launch Alliance, the joint venture between Lockheed Martin Corp. and Boeing Co., due to delays in two military satellite launches this year.

The Air Force stated that the government is holding ULA accountable for the delays according to the terms of its contract.
