President Donald Trump has once again secured a victory with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau agreeing to strengthen border security with a $1.3 billion plan.

This includes deploying nearly 10,000 soldiers along the U.S.-Canada border and using advanced technology such as helicopters to enhance security measures.

In exchange for these commitments, Trump has agreed to delay the implementation of tariffs on Canadian goods for at least 30 days.

Trudeau also pledged $200 million to combat fentanyl trafficking, in line with Trump’s demands.

Canada will appoint a fentanyl czar and designate drug cartels as terrorist organizations, while also launching a joint U.S.-Canada task force to address organized crime and drug trafficking.

This agreement follows similar arrangements made with Mexico, signaling a strengthened stance on border security and drug control across North America.
