Plus-Sized Miss Alabama Sara Milliken Responds to Online Critics

Plus-sized model Sara Milliken, 23, won the title of Miss Alabama over Memorial Day weekend despite facing significant online criticism. This was Milliken's third attempt, and she will now compete in the national finals in Orlando in November. She emphasized the impact of online comments and urged people to spread kindness while dedicating her win to inspiring women of all body shapes.
Plus-sized model Sara Milliken, 23, won the title of Miss Alabama over Memorial Day weekend, despite facing significant online criticism.

This was Milliken's third attempt at the title and she will proceed to compete in the national finals in Orlando in November.

In response to trolls calling her unhealthy and an embarrassment, Milliken emphasized the impact of online comments and urged people to spread kindness.

She revealed that winning the Miss Alabama contest was an eight-year dream and dedicated her win to inspiring other women to pursue their dreams regardless of their body shape or size.

Milliken also paid tribute to her predecessor and expressed excitement for the upcoming national finals.
