A dramatic prison escape occurred in France as a prisoner managed to flee during an ambush on a police van, resulting in the deaths of two officers.
The ambush took place while the van was transporting the prisoner to a courthouse.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident and have launched a manhunt to recapture the escaped prisoner.
