Putin Critic Navalny's Mother Shown His Body, Claims Russia Wants Secret Burial
Alexei Navalny, a prominent Russian opposition leader, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 47 in a penal colony in the Arctic.
His mother, Lyudmila, has openly accused Russian authorities of attempting to conduct a clandestine burial for her son, which she refuses to accept.
Despite being presented with his body and a death certificate citing natural causes, Navalny's family and supporters suspect the Kremlin is behind his death—a claim vehemently denied by the Russian government. The authorities have not yet commented on the accusation of planning a secret funeral.
