Reform UK Receives Major Donations from Brexit Campaign Group
Subtitle: Significant Contributions from Leave Means Leave Spark Questions.
Reform UK benefited from nearly £1 million donated by Leave Means Leave, a group initially intended to support Brexit in a cross-party effort.
In early 2020, Richard Tice, the Reform chair, facilitated this significant contribution while the party was still known as the Brexit Party.
Former Conservative deputy chair Paul Scully criticized the donation, stating it was not in the spirit of Leave Means Leave's intended non-partisan stance.
Despite the controversy, Tice's management saw Reform UK's finances bolstered significantly, covering previous deficits and raising questions about transparency and the true source of funds.
