Russian Aviation Authorities Close Airports Amid Safety Precautions
The Russian aviation oversight agency, Rosaviatsia, announced today that all four major airports in Moscow, along with the Kaluga airport, located 160 kilometers southwest of the capital, have been temporarily closed.
The agency did not disclose the reasons behind this decision.
In a statement, Rosaviatsia emphasized that aviators, air traffic controllers, and airport staff are implementing all necessary measures to ensure the safety of flights, according to a report by the official news agency.
