Sunita Williams Safe on ISS, to Address Earth on July 10

Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams is safe and continues her work on the International Space Station after her return was delayed. Williams, along with crewmate Butch Wilmore, has dealt with technical issues aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft. She will discuss their mission in a live address from the ISS on July 10 at 8.30 pm.
Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams, currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), is safe and continuing her work, NASA reports after her return to Earth was delayed.

Williams and her crewmate, Butch Wilmore, were part of the crew flying on Boeing's Starliner spacecraft, which reached the ISS on June 6.

Originally slated for a 10-day mission, technical issues extended their stay, and Williams' return has faced multiple delays.

Williams will discuss their mission in a live address on July 10 at 8.30 pm.

The ISS, hosting nine crew members, has been conducting various tasks, including future mission preparations and waste management.

Despite the delays, NASA assures that the station is well-supplied and the crew is in no hurry to return.

Boeing faces scrutiny for technical glitches in its maiden crewed mission, including helium leaks and thruster issues.
