The United Arab Emirates has introduced its inaugural federally licensed national lottery, offering a top prize of 100 million dirhams, equivalent to $27.2 million.
The initial draw is scheduled for December 14.
The lottery is managed by The Game LLC, with a license from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
Participants aged 18 and above can take part through the official UAE Lottery website.
Currently, two games are available: 'Lucky Day' and Scratch Cards, with plans for expansion.
'Lucky Day' tickets are priced at AED 50, while scratch cards range from AED 5 to AED 50, offering a maximum prize of AED 1 million.
Participants select six numbers from the 'Days' section and one from 'Months'.
The jackpot of AED 100 million is awarded for matching all seven numbers, with several other prize tiers available for partial matches.
Additional winners are guaranteed through 'Lucky Chance IDs', ensuring seven AED 100,000 prizes outside of the main draws.
