US Responds to Rafah Casualties Amidst Israeli Strike

US President Joe Biden is aware of the casualties in Gaza's Rafah following a deadly Israeli strike, but has no plans to change policy at this time, the White House announced. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby emphasized that the situation is not being ignored. Following Sunday's strike, which reportedly killed 45 people in a camp for displaced individuals, Kirby stated there are no policy changes to address currently.
US President Joe Biden is keenly aware of the casualties in Gaza's Rafah following a deadly Israeli strike over the weekend, but currently has no plans to change policy, the White House announced on Tuesday.

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby reiterated that the US is not ignoring the situation.

Following the Israeli strike on Sunday, which Gazan health authorities reported resulted in 45 deaths within a camp for displaced people, Kirby noted that the incident had 'just happened' and there are 'no policy changes to speak to' at this time.
