Zelenskyy fires more aides in a reshuffle
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has continued his administration's reshuffling by dismissing several key aides, including his top aide Serhiy Shefir and three advisers, without providing immediate reasons.
This follows the recent removals of Oleksii Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and Valerii Zaluzhnyi, head of the armed forces, who was later appointed Ukraine's ambassador to the UK.
Amidst these administrative changes, Russia intensified its military actions against Ukraine, launching drone and missile attacks. Ukraine's air force reported downing nine out of twelve Shahed drones and intercepting four missiles aimed at eastern Ukraine.
Additionally, the Zmiiv Thermal Power Plant in Kharkiv was destroyed due to Russian shelling, exacerbating the energy crisis with ongoing power outages affecting thousands.
