Supreme Court of the United States Rejects Administration Request to Withhold Health Care from Incarcerated Transgender People

The Supreme Court of the United States denied an emergency application filed by the Trump administration and the Federal Bureau of Prisons seeking to withhold gender-affirming medical treatments from incarcerated transgender individuals, leaving lower court injunctions in place as class-action litigation proceeds on behalf of approximately two thousand federal inmates.
