Katie Miller Leaves Musk Role to Launch Podcast for Conservative Mothers
Former aide to Elon Musk and the Trump administration launches weekly lifestyle podcast aimed at conservative women and mothers.
Katie Miller has departed her role as a communications adviser to Elon Musk to launch "The Katie Miller Podcast," which targets conservative women, particularly mothers balancing career and wellness.
The show launches next Monday and will feature weekly episodes described as “real, honest conversations with people across the political spectrum.” Miller has said the podcast will offer perspectives as a conservative wife, health-conscious mother, and working professional eager to create an online space for women like her.
Although she does not plan for the show to be overtly political, the inaugural episode features Vice President J.D. Vance in a conversation centred on his personal life and family roles, rather than political affairs.
Future episodes are expected to include public figures such as Mike Tyson and former ESPN host Sage Steele.
Miller previously served in senior communications roles within the Trump administration, including as Vice President Mike Pence’s communications director.
In 2025 she moved into Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency and subsequently advised Musk directly.
Her departure coincides with recent X chief executive transitions, including the exit of Linda Yaccarino from Musk’s company.
The new podcast is entering a crowded conservative media landscape, where its host has noted few comparable female voices.
In remarks, Miller referenced successful mainstream podcasts and positioned her show as a lifestyle-focused, female-led alternative.
In a preview segment titled “Cabinet Confidential,” Miller asked Vance playful questions about parenting and cabinet members’ personal attributes.
The podcast will be available on major streaming platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, Rumble, X, and Apple Music.
Miller said in a launch video that she sees the podcast as a gathering place for conservative women often underrepresented in online media.
