An American attorney from Indiana named Mark S.
Zuckerberg has filed a lawsuit against Meta, the parent company of Facebook, claiming that his account has been repeatedly suspended on false grounds.
According to the complaint, Zuckerberg has been suspended five times over the past eight years for allegedly 'impersonating a celebrity,' a claim he denies, stating that these actions have cost him thousands of dollars in business.
The lawsuit, filed in the Marion Superior Court, alleges breach of contract and seeks compensation for approximately eleven thousand dollars in advertising fees Zuckerberg paid for promotional content that was later unlawfully removed.
'It’s like buying a billboard on the side of the road, paying for it, and then someone comes and puts a giant blanket over it so you get no benefit,' said Mr. Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, became publicly known.
To verify his identity, he submitted numerous official documents and photographs to the company, including evidence of his full legal name: 'I’m Mark Steven.
He’s Mark Elliot,' he emphasized.
His Facebook account was most recently shut down in May and reinstated only after the lawsuit was filed.
A spokesperson for Meta confirmed that the account was 'restored after being mistakenly disabled' and added that the company appreciates Mr. Zuckerberg’s patience and is working to prevent such errors in the future.
Mr. Zuckerberg has also launched a dedicated website to document the confusion surrounding his name, including an incident in which he was mistakenly sued by the state of Washington for impersonation.
