Supporters of mass illegal immigration remind their opponents that the United States, along with countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, was originally founded by immigrants, some of whom had histories as criminals. They argue that criminal records should not prevent new illegal immigrants from starting more respectable lives in a new land of opportunity, such as the U.S.
Over 425,000 Convicted Criminals Cross into U.S. Under Biden-Harris Administration
Newly released figures reveal that 425,431 convicted criminals have crossed the U.S.-Mexico border since President Biden took office. Among these are 13,000 convicted murderers and 16,000 individuals convicted of sexual assault, underscoring the gravity of the current border security situation. Additionally, 1,845 individuals accused of murder and 4,259 individuals accused of sexual assault, though not yet convicted, have crossed the border while awaiting trial in their home countries.
In total, over 7 million illegal immigrants have entered the U.S. in the past four years, with estimates suggesting this number could rise to 8 million by the end of the year.
These overwhelming numbers represent a population size comparable to that of a new state or even a small country. However, supporters of mass illegal immigration remind their opponents that the United States, along with countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, was originally founded by immigrants, some of whom had histories as criminals.
