Egypt has been identified as the leading military force among Arab nations and ranks 15th globally, based on Global Firepower's 2024 Military Strength Ranking, which assesses potential war-making capabilities using over 60 factors, including manpower, equipment, and geography
Following Egypt in Arab military strength are Saudi Arabia and Algeria, ranked 23rd and 26th worldwide, respectively. Somalia has the weakest military in the Arab world, positioned at 142nd. The rankings exclude three Arab League states: Comoros, Djibouti, and Palestine.
Globally speaking, the US leads with the most robust military, followed by Russia, and then China.
