Swiss Face Up to 3 Years in Prison For Violating Heating Rules New mandate forbids setting temperature above 19°C (66.2F)

A new federal law states that gas heated buildings must be heated up to 19 degrees. Hot water should only be heated to 60 degrees. Radiation ovens or hot air tents will be forbidden. Swim saunas and swimming pools will have to stay cold.
Those who have violate the guidelines are expected to imprison or fine. In case of deliberate action, a sentence of up to three years may be sentenced or fine.

The new law also includes the establishment of an energy police for enforcement of regulations.
