US Plastic Surgeon Charged with Several Claims of Sexual Misconduct and Unauthorized Surgical Procedures
Dr. David Pincus has been implicated in lawsuits alleging that he conducted unauthorized procedures and engaged in sexual harassment.
Dr. David Pincus, a well-known plastic surgeon in Smithtown, New York, is currently under scrutiny due to multiple lawsuits that include claims of sexual misconduct and conducting unauthorized procedures.
The lawsuits, brought forth by various individuals, accuse Pincus of inappropriate actions towards both staff and patients. These allegations include performing a vaginal lift without the patient's consent and instances of sexual harassment.
One former employee, Jaclyn Riker, alleges that Pincus made inappropriate remarks and made unwanted physical advances, such as insisting she call him 'Daddy.' Another patient, Vanessa Soda, asserts that during a tummy tuck in 2021, Pincus conducted an unauthorized vaginal lift, leaving her shocked since she had never agreed to such a procedure. She also accuses him of sexual harassment.
Additionally, Michelle Armstrong has filed a separate lawsuit, claiming that Pincus failed to treat an infection after breast reduction surgery, which resulted in serious medical issues.
Pincus has rejected the accusations, with his lawyer describing the allegations as 'baseless' and insinuating that there might be a financial motive behind the lawsuits.
His legal representatives have also indicated that 14 witnesses are ready to testify on his behalf.
