Why Brooklyn and Nicola Beckham Blocked Victoria and David

Conflicting accounts emerge as the Beckham family dispute deepens ahead of the holiday season.
The upcoming Christmas is unlikely to be warm or harmonious for the Beckham family.

Earlier this week, reports indicated a sharp escalation in the family rift after Victoria and David Beckham were said to have unfollowed their son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, on Instagram.

In certain circles, unfollowing is seen as a drastic gesture, and many interpreted the move as a final step toward cutting Brooklyn out of the family’s life.

Shortly afterward, the couple’s younger son, Cruz, aged twenty, stepped in to clarify the situation.

According to him, it was not the parents who unfollowed their son, but rather Brooklyn and Nicola who blocked the entire family, including their fourteen-year-old sister, Harper.

“My parents would never stop following their own son,” Cruz explained.

“They woke up and discovered they had been blocked, just like me”.

Now, a source close to Brooklyn and Nicola has offered their perspective.

According to this account, the couple feels that Victoria and David speak about them excessively to the media and behind the scenes.

Every post shared by the parents, the source says, causes anxiety and pressure, driven by fears that it may lead to further stories about them.

As a result, the couple felt compelled to take what they describe as an extreme step and block the family entirely on social media.

The source added, “This is a planned campaign of falsehoods about the most personal aspects of their lives.

For a long time, they attacked Nicola and believed they could do so without consequences.

You cannot hurt and damage a couple for so long and still expect the relationship to survive.

The side that causes the pain cannot be the one to decide when the conflict is over.

If they want reconciliation, they must apologize, take responsibility for the pain they caused, and change their behavior so it does not happen again.

But the chances of that are very small”.

According to the same source, reconciliation does not appear likely in the near future.

“It would be very nice if, for the holiday, the Beckhams would let go and leave them alone.

They were the ones who started these ‘blocking games’ months ago and they keep repeating them.

Brooklyn and Nicola asked his parents to leave them in peace.

They want quiet.

Victoria and David are using Instagram to generate media attention.

These are manipulations and games that only push Brooklyn and Nicola further away.

They are angry about the rumors being spread about them and are trying to do the right thing, which means not responding and simply living their lives.

They just want peace, and it would be better for everyone if Victoria and David stopped trying to reach out, comment, or speak, because it helps nothing”.

Regarding the public reaction to the blocking, the source said, “If someone decides to stop following another person, it should not matter to anyone.

It is sad, but nothing has really changed”.

Despite this, a source close to Victoria and David says they have not given up hope.

“The distance between them is very difficult, especially during meaningful moments, like David being knighted and now Christmas.

It feels as though Brooklyn is a ghost who is still present in the house.

They want him to know that the door is always open and that he is always welcome.

What they want most is for him to be with them this Christmas, to leave the past behind and start a new chapter in the coming year”.

As for reconciliation with Nicola, the same source said, “That will probably never happen.

They have given up on making peace with Nicola, but they still want a relationship with their son.

Right now, they are focusing on Brooklyn”.

In response, a source close to Brooklyn said, “That is exactly what they should not do, because he and Nicola are more united than ever”.

And while the Beckham family prepares for Christmas in London, Brooklyn and Nicola marked the holiday season elsewhere.

The couple celebrated Hanukkah with Nicola’s Jewish parents in Palm Beach.
