The incident took place on Thursday night, raising serious concerns about security at large public events.
According to Victoria Police, security personnel at the MCG notified police after they became aware of the men's unacceptable behavior and refusal to leave the venue.
On arrival, police proceeded to detain the individuals, during which they conducted a search that allegedly uncovered two firearms hidden in each man's pants.
The suspects have been identified as a 21-year-old from Roxburgh Park and a 37-year-old from Broadmeadows.
