Fifty Trees and Artificial Snow: Kim Kardashian Spent Ten Thousand Dollars on Christmas Decorations

The extravagant and seemingly endless spending of the Kardashian-Jenner women no longer comes as a surprise.

They are also famously devoted to Christmas, as reflected in the elaborate parties they host almost every year and the striking decorations that fill their homes.
As the holiday approaches, it has become clear that two of the sisters chose noticeably different paths this season.
On one side stands Kim Kardashian, guided by the principle of “if you have it, show it”.
On the other is her younger sister, Kendall Jenner, who chose to scale back and celebrate in a more understated way.
Last week, Kardashian gave her followers a glimpse into her sixty-million-dollar estate, which she decorated so extravagantly that even Santa Claus might have said, “That’s a bit much”.
She covered the house with artificial snow and installed no fewer than fifty Christmas trees.
Each tree reportedly cost around two hundred dollars, amounting to at least ten thousand dollars, not including the decorations themselves, whose glow could likely be seen from space.
“This is the house I come back to. I can’t even describe the feeling and the smell. It’s insane,” Kardashian said.
To her credit, given her wealth, ten thousand dollars is a relatively modest sum.
Online reactions, however, were less festive.
One commenter wrote, “Her house is about as warm as a cemetery”.
Another said, “It looks like a Christmas tree store in a mall,” while a third added, “More like a discount warehouse for holiday trees”.
Kendall Jenner also shared glimpses of her holiday setup, which appeared far more restrained by comparison.
Inside her home, she displayed a single decorated tree, with another sparkling tree placed outside, along with additional lights and a handful of decorations indoors and out.
Over the weekend, she hosted a holiday gathering for friends, including Hailey Bieber, who reportedly brought cupcakes she had made herself.
